Recording Packages

On Location / Live event Package

Do you want the convenience of recording your music in a location of your choice? Whether it be your rehearsal space, or at the live gig itself, Long Coat Productions can capture the energy of your performance. Long Coat can record in Schools, Concert Halls, Pubs, Clubs and Rehearsal Rooms.

Studio Recording Package

Based at West Road Concert Hall, University of Cambridge, you will have the opportunity to record in this spacious studio consisting of a separate control room and 20ft square live area. This studio is suitable for all types of acoustic recordings including:

Piano, String Quartet, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals, Choirs and Spoken Word
(for adverts and jingles)

Recording Rates

All rates are for both location and studio recordings

• 8 hour session - £150

• 4 hour evening session - £75

(Rates inclusive of recordings within 10 miles from Cambridge City Centre. 10+ miles charged at 40p per mile)

Rates include

• Full or half day location/studio recording

• Additional 4hr half day mastering session

• Mastered CD of your recording

• CD of your WAV files (if required)

• CD postage via recorded delivery

Post Production

Mastering Package

Do you have an old recording you'd like professionally mixed and mastered? If you have separate WAV files or audio files, Long Coat Productions can mix, balance and master onto CD. You can also add new elements to your recording(s) by overdubbing, to improve the overall sound of the final track. Packages are available at £30 for 2 hours and £15 per hour there after. Mastering sessions will take place at West Road Studio.

• Intel Imac G5

• Tannoy System 600A Monitors

• Logic Pro Recording and Mastering Software

• 30ft 32way Snake

• Selection of Condenser and Dynamic Microphones
