The
major part of a project of this size is the planning and
after meeting with the client we created an exact site plan
of how the search will work and the number of different
options and search criteria that would be needed to enable
the potential customers to find exactly what they are looking
for.
We
have used PHP and MySQL to create this database with over
120 different locations listed all over the UK. This is
a very complex search with the user having the ability to
choose a number of options to shorten their search including
budget, area, type of venue and number of guests.
As
well as making the site easy for the potential customers
to use, we also have to make this site easy for the client
to update. We have created a Content
Management system to run along side this website.
This gives our customer the ability to simply log on and
change any page on the website at any time from anywhere
in the world.
We
used a fresh modern blend of hard colours on a white background
for this website, using the companies signature navy and
gold colours. With the success this site is seeing already
we are happy to say this is another job well done.
