Elegant styling,
yet easy to use functionality was the key for this design.
At the same time as creating a stunning website, that mirrored
the style of the venues brochures, we also wanted to add
that aspect of interactivity and movement to keep this site
interesting and really catch the potential customers attention.
Working with the Creative Workhouse, we
obtained all of the images and colour codes from the brochure
and pitched our idea for a fully animated interactive solution.
Our idea was an instant hit and we got
to work straight away creating a full Flash website with
a gravity effected horizontal scrolling script. This allows
the whole website to unfold just like the brochure as the
site scrolls across the screen to the desired page.
We feel this has kept beautifully with
the style and elegance of 38 Portland Place and add that
little extra ingredient that transforms this from a good
website to a truly exceptional one.
