they wanted
to do something completely different to the competition
who have all used the same basic HTML form for online bookings.
The idea
for the Essex County Hotels online booking system was to
create a booking form in Flash that would allow a user to
browse information about the rooms, check pricing and availability
and book the room, all on one page.
This
is easier said than done, but after 14 days of programming
and design we managed to produce a fully functional Flash
booking system for the hotel well within the budget.
We
also added a Content
Management system to allow the hotel to change
any prices or room details at the click of the button.
After
a brief Online
Promotion with the client we managed to set-up a full
promotions package for the online booking web site which
got the site off to a flying site making numerous bookings
in the first few days.

client was very happy with this solution, Mark Cook from
